Cavs coming back after a rocky start
Cleveland had high hopes at the start of the season. But unfortunately they started 2-2. After that a switch must have been hit because they now are on a 4 game winning streak. On Friday the 14th the Cavaliers dug their-selfs out of a 19 point deficit in the fourth quarter to win against the Celtics. This last game on the 16th against the Hawks is the most impressive though. The team combined for 11 3-pointers in the first half. LeBron hit 3 and Kevin Love and Joe Harris both had 2. So things are looking good for the Cavs as they have won 4 in a row and are in second in the central division. It looks like the teammate chemistry that LeBron has wanted is finally coming.
Houston@Oklahoma City preview
This is a big game. Two of the games arguably best offences and defences will face off. Look forward to the matchup of James Harden and Jeremy Lamb. Only being Lamb's second season watch James Harden to take advantage of the youngster who still has a lot to learn. Watch Harden use his pump fake to get easy 3's. Also I expect Houston to win. OKC who is 3-7 is a little shaky. Houston's offense hasn't been as good as they wanted it too, but they are 8-1 so something must be going good. That is their defense, watch Dwight Howard get a lot of rebounds on defense and create fast breaks.
Raptors edge out Jazz
The Raptors had another strong game on Saturday beating the Jazz by 18. The final score was Raptors 111, Jazz 93. Jonas Valanciunas sat season highs with 17 points and 14 boards. DeMar Derozan came out strong also. He ended with 27 points helping his team win its 6th game in 7. Bulldog or Kyle Lowry had 19 points hitting 2 out of 4 3 point field goals. Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors each had 18 points for the Jazz. Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward had 12. But even that wasn't enough to beat the strong Raptors. Utah falls to 4-7, and Toronto comes up to 8-2. Thing are looking bright for Toronto this season as they sit atop of the eastern division but there is still a lot of games to go.
Lakers still suffering
The Lakers pains continue as they lose to San Antonio by 13. Kobe Bryant missed all five of his 3-point attempts, while Jeremy Lin made 1-3. The Spurs Leonard made 2-2. The Lakers only scored 13 points in the second half. The final score ended up as lopsided as the stats show. Spurs 93, Lakers 80. The Lakers fall to 1-8, so I can see why Kobe might want to end his career somewhere else.
Sabres finally win
The Sabres finally win against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The final score was 6-2 Sabres. Zemgus Girgensons scored 2 goals, helping snap a 5 game losing streak. Tyler Ennis scored a goal, and assisted on 2. The Sabres also got goals from Drew Stafford, Tyler Myers, and Matt Moulson. David Clarkson and Phil Kessel scored the Maple Leafs only two goals. Buffalo goalie Michal Neuvirth was on top of his game tonight saving 32 shots.
